back from SGB. tiring, but its worth it. loved it.
morning went to bishan to had breakfast with bryan and glenden ( because we dont have to fall-in xD) ate and went to school. marked their attendance, and set off for BB HQ at Zion road!!!
reached there, reported, briefed, and the work begins. the warehouse looked the same as ever. this warehouse holds lots of memories. good and bad ones. cleared some stuff and were given a break. ( this year damn slack ). was one of the few lucky ones to do delivery!!!!
at 9.30am, we were outside the carpark waiting for our 6 TONNE truck to arrive. we have to deliver 6 pellets of rice and 1 pellets of biscuit ( 1 pellet of rice is abt 100+ packets which is about 500kg at least) stood under the sun and waited and waited and waited. the Primer in charge was Jacky, he kept "whining" why the truck havent come blah blah blah.
at around 11pm, the damn truck arrived. what a relief. ( its supposed to come at 10am @#$ ) we started loading the stuffs on the truck. it comes with the "elevator" or the professionals call it the tailgate, which makes our work easier. we took about 1hr to load the stuffs, its darn heavy. 6 pellets of 500kg each aint funny.
after loading, which is about 12pm, we set off for our destination....Pasir Ris!!!! oh yeah, we sat behind the truck. damn shiok. the wind blowing at our faces. suddenly, all the memories of previous SGBs flashed into my mind. the trip was very long, and we went through the KPE, the undergrounde expressway, it was damn stuffy inside, almost died. we drove past Downtown, White Sands on the way. Reached our destination, unloaded the stuff, helped packed the stuff. ( we transferred the rice by hand. which means TONNES of rice transfered by hand )
after unloading, the truck is almost empty already. it was time to head back to the HQ for our lunch and we would set off for the 2nd delivery which is at clementi, chua chu kang area. on the way back, we drove past the Singapore Flyers, Esplanade blah blah blah. even more flashbacks came into my mind.
